EAST FORSYTH HIGH SCHOOL: 6
East Forsyth took control early in the contest with good pitching and defense and never let the Cowboys into it. East took the lead in the first and then gradually added runs throughout the game on their way to a 6-1 victory. The Cowboys had their moments as their top hitters included Brandon Cecilio and Adam Needles with 2 hits each. Cade Allred (0-1) pitched well despite the loss. The JV Cowboys fall to 6-4 overall and 1-2 in the conference. Southwest returns to action on Wednesday at Western Guilford as part of a JV/Varsity double header.
