WESTERN GUILFORD HIGH SCHOOL: 1
After a sluggish first half and most of the second, the Cowboys responded with 3 goals in the final 6 minutes to defeat Western 3-1. The team had many opportunities to score during both halves but failed to convert. Western then scored on one of their few attempts to go ahead 1-0. Hayden Hmiel scored off a volley from Zander Bishop to knot the score at 1-1. A few minutes later Kerem Guzel converted a PK to put the 'Boys up 2-1. Liam McAbee scored an insurance goal in the final minutes to make the final score 3-1.
