The Varsity Soccer team defeated HPCA on Thursday evening 3-1. Sworup Pradhan scored less than 2 minutes into the game on a nice assist from Jack Davis. The score remain 1-0 during the first half thanks to a brilliant PK save by GK Chase Bradshaw. Jack Davis gave the Cowboys a 2-0 lead early in the 2nd half off an assist by Nathan Yarborough. The Cowboys made it 3-0 when Kerem Guzel scored on an assist by Bipul Khadka. HPCA got on the board from a corner kick to narrow the margin to 3-1. The team is now 2-0 on the young season. Both JV and varsity play at home this MondayAugust 22 against Northern Guilford, game times are 5:30 and 7pm.
