Marlon White is a native of Centenary, South Carolina and 1994 graduate of Terrell’s Bay High.  After graduation he joined the Air Force, enjoying a 20-year long career before an honorable retirement in March of 2016. During this time, he met his supportive wife Denise. Together, they have 6 wonderful children, 2 loved grand boys with their first grand girl arriving September of 2022.

Coach White brings 8+ years of experience to this position, including the roles of Head Coach, Assistant Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator. In his first season as Head Coach of the Ribault Trojans in Jacksonville, Florida, he led the team to the 3rd round of the FHSAA playoffs, a feat that had not been accomplished in 26 years of the school’s history. 

Prior to his inaugural role as Head Coach, he was the Defensive Coordinator at Atkins High School in Winston Salem, NC, Bishop McGuinness in Greensboro, NC and Northeast Guilford in McLeansville, NC. Under his leadership and guidance, each defensive unit demonstrated measurable and dramatic improvements observed and applauded by the teams and communities he impacted.

With this venture, Coach White brings a community inclusive approach. He also believes in constructive discipline outlined within the expectations that student-athletes will perform well academically, exhibit a high caliber of sportsmanship along with positive character traits on and off the field.
